GHI to supply high performance aluminium melting plant to an Spanish company

GHI Smart Furnaces, has received an order from one of the largest processing plants of aluminium coils in Spain to supply the main equipment for the melting and heat treatment processes for its plant expansion.

The project, includes one tilting rotary furnace of 30 tons, one melting furnace of 60 tons, reverberatory type,  the revamping of two holding furnaces and the coil annealing furnaces.

GHI scope of supply includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, startup and complete after sales services.  The project, with the most advanced technology is designed to comply with strict quality requirements and environmental restrictions.

The aluminium coil plant will be integrated into the 4.0 industry with the Beyond Alea platform, the unique system that integrates the complete melting process, from the optimum raw material selection up the final product quality and equipment operation.

The relationship of GHI Smart Furnaces with the client began in 2014. GHI also supplied the existing melting, holding and annealing furnaces, and continues fostering a long term relationship.

The customer, with more than 35 years of experience in the sector of aluminium, implemented a continuous improvement program of expansion, quality, service and commitment to the environment that have made the company to take off on recycled aluminum casting.
