GHI Smart Furnaces presented its advanced technology: The Rolling Beam Furnace for Hot Stamping, at the “Forming in Car Body Engineering” Conference in Germany.

The conference, presented by Adriana Torres, GHI’s engineer, provided a very interesting perspective on the operation and the advantages offered by the innovative rolling beam furnace in the hot stamping process and was very pleasantly received by the attendees.

The conference that takes place every year, was held on 25 and 26 September 2018 in Bad Nauheim, Germany and is one of the most important appointments for international experts in automotive engineering. This edition had the participation of more than 100 attendees from the main OEMs and Tier 1 of different countries. New developments for more efficient processes and innovative technologies in industrial car body part production again governed the discussions held at this year’s Automotive Circle conference.

“OnStamp”, the equipment for the hot stamping process developed by GHI, includes advanced technology that overcomes the limitations usually found on traditional equipment. This new concept of smart furnace combines the highest productivity specifications with minimum maintenance costs and allows to achieve significant improvements in the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
