This is an optimum
solution for the massive melting of diverse scrap. Furnace is loaded
by means of baskets handled by the crane through the upper part of the
furnace, which remains uncovered after moving the roof in a self-governing
way. Optimum melting rate is achieved thanks to the convenience and
quickness of loading operation as well as to the uniform distribution
of the heat provided. The use of regenerative burners reduces to minimum
values the fuel consumption and contributes to obtain of high specific
melting capacities rates.
