BEAM FURNACES TYPE VG
These are continuous
furnaces used for the preheating at high temperatures of long pieces.
Pieces in work carriers can also be treated. The alternative movement
of rising, moving forward, lowering and moving backwards of beams of
refractory material arranged in slots in the furnace hearth, makes the
loads advance. There are different devices for pieces loading and unloading
in the furnace for integration in the production lines. Time pieces
remain inside the chamber is regulated according to the frequency of
the beams drive. The furnace can be emptied as requested.
Usual treatments:
austenizing, annealing.
