Aluminium Billet Manufacturing Plant
High dimensional precision aluminium billets
The process for obtaining aluminium billets or tubes begins with smelting scrap, ingots, etc. Once the metal has been smelted and its chemical composition adjusted, it is cast into billet shapes in the casting machine. The billets then undergo homogenization treatment, followed by controlled cooling. Lastly, the billets are cut to the desired measurement and prepared for shipping.
At GHI, we design and supply the furnaces and auxiliary equipment used in the production process, during both smelting and treatment.
